Finding your code
In the Home menu press...

9 Help & info
8 Help with your remote
Find the TV make you are looking for
Entering the code

Press and hold Vol + and the Mute button for 3 or 4 seconds until the yellow light flashes
Enter the four digit code
The light will flash and the volume up and down should then work, if not try the next code
Can this thread be made a sticky thread for people to use a reference for codes and stuff? Heres a link to a PDF file that contains loads of codes, guess they are the same as the ones on the TV plus some other ones!
Click Here Hope it works OK! Edit: Just tried it, it's one of those annoying sites that makes you wait 30 seconds before it starts to download... sorry! Last edited by Chris123 : 17-03-2007 at 10:52. |

Turning TV on and off
Anyone know if there's a key combination on the V+ remote that turns your TV in and out of stand by? Had that on my old NTL remotes and it's the one thing that I can't find on the V+ one.

JVC Code
I accidentally typed the first code on the list wrongly and it worked! I'm at work so not near my tv but I added a zero to the begining of the number and dropped the last digit. I'm not sure what the original code was but it ended up as 0086 I think or could be 0089 but something like that. Hope it helps.

Cheers dru_id. I just went through the codes again (for the umpteenth time) and the second code worked - 0081 Is there a trick to getting the standby button to work the TV? |

Is there a trick to getting the standby button to work the TV? I don't think so. I have certainly never found one. Perhaps others out there know different? It would certainly be handy. |

I have a black V+ box and the help menu doesn't work, so I can't see how to setup my remote to work the TV.
I have held the volume + button and the Mute for 3 - 4 seconds and the light flash's, I then put in the Panasonic code for my TV and try the volume button, but none work. My old STB box remote worked for this TV, so why not my new V+ ?? Any ideas? |
