Have a look on there and you should find one, it worked for my Panasonic
Do you have a link to the correct forum?

I've been on the cable forum, if's it's the right one, but cannot find anything to do with Hitachi codes.

Cheers

I think a Technonic are rebadged Thomson TV's. Try these codes to see you have any luck with that.

Thomson: 363, 653, 137, 224, 371, 065, 377

What was the code?

Can you post it here so others can use it as a reference and don't have to go though the same trouble you have?

Which forum was it? I did have a quick look at www.cableforum.co.uk but couldn't find anything.

Chris, if you are referring to the Hitachi, here is a list of the codes, some of them may already be on the V+ menu, however, most of those are for the Pace box, try all the following codes, as these are for the V+ box:

0145 0253 0384 0377 0173 0606 0591 0509 0065 0071 0072 0064 0060 0133 0137
0224 0226 0245 0255 0191 0334 0391 0549 0576 0585

My V+ box, finally worked with code 0060.

Hi,
Does anyone know a code for the Sony HTSF-1000 amp?
I've tried all the Sony codes listed on the help screen, but none worked.
Thank you...

I have made the following wikipedia page with a list of codes:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...B_remote_codes

This list is not complete or guaranteed to be accurate... please update it with any new codes you find!

My nextdoor neighbours have just had a V+ box installed. They're in their 80s so I've been helping them to familiarise themselves with it. The installer left without setting the remote for the TV volume so a quick search led me to this thread. (Thank you Chris123 for your instructions.)

However I fell at the first fence because when I went to 9 Help and info, the box did nothing. Just sat there with a silly grin on its face. Does anyone have any idea how I progress beyond that point or should we assume the box is faulty and get back to VM?

You could try resetting the box to see if that helps

Also, there is the Wiki link above that takes you to a list of different codes or you could download the PDF version and print it out. Neither are 100% complete just a built up collection of ones we know that work.

Wiki Page

PDF Download

or phone Telewest and speak to the faults department who can give you some codes, athough most are prob in the two links above.

Good luck!

Thanks for that but in fact I've already done all 3! I had to reset the box a couple of times when it locked up on me within minutes of the installer leaving (can't remember what for now), and I have the PDF file saved on my PC for when I can work out how to get past 9 Help and info!
I rang Virgin this evening and the rep said something about not all V+ boxes working the same way and he'd try and find the exact procedure and mail it to me. We'll see!

The remote works fine with my Toshiba TV, but as i go through a Pioneer amp for sound, this isn't really much use.

I have tried the Pioneer codes, but these have no effect on the amp volume.

Is it possible to set it to do the amp volume from the remote?
I would have thought its not that uncommon to use amps now days?

Thanks

Hi,
Has anyone found a code for a Tiny Focus 4200 42" plasma?
I've tried adding a 0 to the Sky remote codes (037, 060, 065, 292 & 502) given in its manual with no luck.
