Hi everyone.

So who else has sent away their postal vote form for the BSA? I was going to send mine but decided it would be easy to vote online and though it in the bin, This is the 2nd year in a row I have recieved one in the post. Last years I sent off and I was so pleased EastEnders won after a fantastic 2005.

Its great when you can postal vote. Makes it much more fairer.

Why does it make it fairer?

I voted online this year as well-i just dont understand what you mean?!

I will say though I do find it confusing if I voted again online does it count-can you vote as many times as you want?!

I appreciate older people like to vote via post as many of them dont have access to internet etc but still-fairer?!

I was wondering how did you get it in the post-did you request it?

Well its fairer because older people who are fans of soap can fill it in and pop it in the post box.

I got one last year too. It came along with the junk mail.

Well yes thats good that they can vote-but its not necessarily 'fairer'. I can see where you are coming from but at the same time we could say its fairer the younger generations can vote online as they wouldnt have time to get their voting card, fill it in and send it off!

I used to get the BSA voting cards in the post office-but then i started using the sun now ive been using online!!

Well its fairer because people often claim only the young vote. By getting these forms in the post anyone can vote.

Older people have just as much chance as the younger to vote their fave soaps.

I have agreed whole heartedly with that in other threads.
People complain EE always benefit from the younger vote as Corries older viewers cant vote.

I think that claim is rubbish. If the older fans wanted to vote they could vote-they have several methods-via the papers, the post office and these little ballot card things!

Of course Corrie fans have just as much chance to vote. You get these forms in the post office. They can pick one up when they collect their pensions!

That comment is not going to go down well with some....

To be honest though. What sort of person over the age of 30 would want to vote in some awards that have sexy male and female categories? it is tacky you have to admit.

They are marketed at younger voters and thats who the main voters are. So people should never knock the winner by using age as an excuse.

exactly.
Corrie like we have discussed on other threads always whinge when they lose about how the younger fans vote EE. Im 17-i voted corrie in quite a few categories I admit even though Im a huge EE fan. I think it spoils the whole thing when the losers complain-the fans who vote should be thanked, those that dont well the cast should blame them if they want to blame anyone!!

Does anyone know the full list of nominations? Including the ones we can't vote for?
