BBC1's Comic Relief does Fame Academy hit its best figures yet as 6.5 million and a 31 per cent share tuned in at 7pm to see Shaun Williamson and Colin Murray evicted.

It lost out to ITV1's Emmerdale, which drew 7.2 million and a 35 per cent share.
