This is what some forum members heard on the CBBC show this afternoon according to a thread on here ( Thread link ). In which case I sugest we get our votes in for our chosen "winner" in the next hour.

Obviously some people may have wanted to wait and judge them on the final performance, but that does not look as if it is going to happen now anyway

I was just thinking about this and wondered if they were telling us text voting was closed at 6.30pm. The text lines closed last night quite early, so could this be what they were saying?

As I said in the other thread, I was on my way to answer the door and didn't hear them clearly, but I am sure they said something about voting and 6.30pm.

Can't believe that is true because there would be little point singing tonight - will try again after 6.30 to check.

Phone lines are still active!

As someone has just said, the phone lines are still active as I voted about 2 minutes ago.

this happened last year they shut off the phoned early and i couldnt vote for kim

Surely they'll get more money if they left the phone lines open until they perform.

Maybe they don't want the phone system to go into meltdown with all of the extra Comic Relief donations.

Whatever, it has taken away some of the excitement factor, in reality it was not much of a final really (in terms of a proper programme).

Voted for Tara loads of times and still haven't received a reply.
