Why the Slaters? Isn't it a family full of slappers? Surely a normal everyday family should be top of the list, but I don't think there are any "normal" families in soaps.

I'm going to keep things old-skool and say The Beales.

Pete, Ian and Kathy were a true great family, none of these silly affairs that you have to have nowadays.

The Watts: Den, Angie, Sharon, Chrissie, Dennis, Vicki

The Slaters were good before Sean came...

I also like The Beales

Pretty sure Charlie and Big Mo aren't slappers.

Lyn was married, as was Little Mo, and neither of them exactly shagged everything in sight. Zoe wasn't particularly outrageous in terms of sex and Belinda wasn't in it enough to be anything, which left Kat, who wasn't so much a slapper as she was just troubled.

As for the newcomers: Stacey has slept with, what, two people? She's arguably quite slapperish for sleeping with Max but she is being totally manipulated by him. As for Sean, well, I have nothing bad to say about that gorgeous creature.

I think back in the day the Jacksons & Butchers were fantastic.

I think out of recent times it would have to be the Slaters. That family were genius. Each member having their own background and own secret to tell. A true iconic soap family. I doubt any soap will ever be able to top this lot or even recreate what they had.

There have been many families that have appealed to me over the years in EastEnders. These are my top favourites (in no particular order):

- Watts
- Fowlers
- Brannings
- Slaters
- Mitchells

I love the Wicks' storylines over the years!

Maybe not the recent acting but I think the family is good, East End style

You cant deny the Folwers were one hell of a family. not my favourite but the drama in that house is enough for a spin off show!

I always loved The Mitchell's, The Jacksons, The Moons but i think like most here my fav has been The Slaters! I hope more of the family start coming back soon!
