I just realised last night at the end of Coronation Street, that it doesn't say:
Copyright Granada Television 2007.

Instead it now says ITV Productions 2007.

It's said that for ages.

Does it?

Hadn't noticed.
End of an era.

Quite sad really.

I miss regional ITV

Does it still say 'Yorkshire Television' at the end of Emmerdale? Or is that 'ITV Productions' as well?

they also should put shots of the street at the end instead of that blue background

Michael Grade has said that he wants to make more of regional identity again, I would like that. The good thing about MG is that he understands what his grandfather built all those years ago.

really I hope he does do more and give programmmes the chosen end credits instead of something its been given

Its been ITV productions for over a year. It is all part of the idea to make ITV one giant corporate comapny!

The end cap has said "ITV Productions" for over a year yes, but the copyright just before, only changed a few weeks ago. Emmerdale is still copyrighted to Yorkshire.

But the [c] copyright thing is not really the point, as they all are the same company anyway.
