Emmerdale's Hayley Tamaddon - Delilah Dingle in the Yorkshire-based soap - is to leave the Dales this summer in a cracker of a storyline after two years playing the character.

Of her decision to leave, the Soapstar Superstar runner-up said: "I’ve had an amazing time playing Delilah and she’s got a great storyline coming up, but I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds. It’s a really exciting time for me."
