I have to admit Kyran has been great all the way through, but I judged the winner solely on tonight's performance alone, and whilst I was impressed with Kyran tonight over all particularly his Bolero, I was no more impressed than usual. However, I considered Clare pulled out all the stops, addressed the criticisms from you guys who have criticised her right the way through, and did as much skating tonight as she did being in the air. Her skating was in fact technically more complicated and foot perfect than Kyran's, that's why the judges gave her highest marks. Her Bolero was absolutely breathtaking, I was mesmerised as I was when Torvill and Dean did it originally, and she was without doubt the real winner tonight.”

I totally agree with the above. I am pleased for Kyran, but felt that Clare was the better skater last night.

In a final people vote on the whole series and I am not surprised Kyran won. I preferred Kyrans Bolero but I can understand people who chose Clares or couldn't choose even (as was my daughter who didn't vote at all because she couldn't pick between them).

A brilliant end with three good couples all now going on tour so the public can get to see them.

The point here is it is supposed to be Dancing on Ice that means a) good skating AND b) good dancing and presenting. Kyran was the best skater but he was way behind on the dancing front - even Lisa was better on that one let alone Duncan or Clare. He did NOT deserve to win just because he was strongest as a skater and people voted for him endlessly because a) he's a bloody sportsman.. and b) he did all these goofy entertaining routines which disguised his lack of elegance.

That's the whole reason why he should not have been voted the winner. The whole point in having skate offs each week is to ensure that the best skaters go through to the next round and the worst of the bunch leave the programme. This then enables the public's judged best skaters/ice dancers to compete in the final. That means, that each pair should only be judged on what they achieve on the final night and not on any previous skating or dancing ability. Therefore, in my opinion, Kyran was unquestionably far less confident on the ice than has been previously, Clare was superior in every way on the night that it counts and should most definitely have won. Think about it, when ice dancers compete in the olympics they dont win their medals on the basis of their performances at the previous competitions do they, it's purely on the few minutes they skate and dance there and then. It should have been the same last night, but due to popularity and hype this did not happen.

She was wobbly and unsure of herself in the Bolero, Kyran's was much better
