i was just wondering if there was anyone on this forum that works with mobile phone repairs and has a rough idea on how much it would cost to get a samsung D600 fixed. The problem is i dropped the phone and the slider seems to come out of place and the screen was working up until yesterday and now it is just blank

thanks for any help in advance

Sorry I cant help you mate. You might be able to take it to a phone shop and ask them.

I just broke my D500. Half the buttons stopped working so I decided to take it apart using some instructions I found on the internet. But I have broken it even more!

if it needs a new slide then they are about £7 (may not need a slide but you wont know untill it is stripped)
it may need a new ribbon cable which is about £3.
if the screen is still blank then a new screen is about £33.
if i was repairing i would charge £10 fitting and postage would be on top.
if you strip it yourself be very carefull not to damage the ribbon clamps otherwise you may as well through it away as they are very hard to replace
