Dont like the son. Not as much personality as David and definitly not as cheeky looking!

Jodie i did like. Now she looks wrong calling Jerry dad. Seriously she looks to old!!

As for th other kids-well the sisters ive no real opinion on as they were not very active tonight-didnt sound best of actors but first show I know that...

Grandad. OH DEAR. Anyone got Archies number-i hope we might need him soon...”

Yeah but look at Nana Moon when she first entered EastEnders. Some people thought the same about her character as they do with Grandad, but she turned out to be great and a very enjoyable character. It just gets to me when people lay into characters in shows that havent yet had a real chance to prove themselves. (Im not laying into you or anything so please don't take it the wrong way)

No dont worry-i know exactly what you mean.
nana moon was one of my favourite characters!
I cried buckets the day nana died....

But something about grandad annoys me!
Hes been seen quite a few times and ive never really heard him speak. But after tonight i dont think i want to! I could hardly understand a word he said! Anyway time will tell like with all families!

I loved the Connors straight away unlike some so now im going to have to bear this lot for a while anyway!

The actor who plays grandad was in Early Doors and I thought he was hilarious in that , he seems to be the same sort of character in corrie.

Jerry was probably my favourite on first impressions but I also liked the youngest daughter, Kayleigh. She had a few good lines and if she teams up with Sophie Webster I think they will be a great pair

I will give this new family a chance because Sinbad (he will always be Sinbad to me) is a Legend.

I'm not going to hold this episode against them, I'm just saying my opinion in regards to their first appearance. They'll get their chance to redeem themselves in future episodes but for now, I don't like them. Is that okay?

They should have a free kebab day on opening and Jerry can offer one to Emily....

It was good tonght.
Steve had some great one-liners
loved David "stick a rocket up his arse!"
and Gail's (hyporcitical) facial expressios at the morton kids.

The Mortons:

I DO NOT LIKE WILF. He's so much like a cartoon and over-acted, I dont think I like him at all.
I like Jodie so far, she seems fun.
Jerry/Sinbad is good.
Kayleigh seemed okay but her lines could have been said better
Darryl acted like David at the beginning (since the actors are best friends maybe he's picking up tips) - I half expected Sarah to point that out to Gail. Though he wasnt as good.
I liked Mel.

I think I'll like the family!

What an enjoyable episode.

I have'nt laugh so much in a long time.

Don't know what to make of the Mortons yet, but was taken aback when it turned out the loud music was'nt being played by the kids.

Excuse me if I am being particularly dense, but... if their house (the Mortons) belonged to Charlie, who did they rent/buy it from? I know someone will clear this up for me. Thanks.

It's about as dense as me asking who is paying for the business now Charlie's dead! I know Jason is miraculously running it single handed, but whose actual business IS it now?
When Bill came back I just assumed he'd be buying it, but that doesn't seem to have happened.

Dreadful new family. Hammy acting.
And what's the chances of Claire taking her book into the pub to sit on her own and pay a fortune for an orange juice.
Or Paul Connor bringing his new golf clubs into the Rovers.
What a pile of nonsense.
I think this episode was the beginning of the end for me.

Things happen wonderfully quicky in soapland. Presume Charlie died in testate - there would be no will so then they would try and find if he had any living relatives, etc. etc. The whole horrendous administrative stuff would take for ever to clear up. The house would stay empty for at least a year, I would say, and the business would be closed. But that's soap for you. All done and dusted in about 8 weeks!!!
