Can I just say, if it's not been said already, that that episode is the WORST Corrie I've ever seen in my whole life. It was like on Friday night someone at Granada suddenly remembered that there was no episode for Sunday. The got the YTS girl to write it and the wooden tops to act it. It was total and utter cr*p. And then throwing the 'Jane Austin' book and the reference to 'Why read it when you can watch it'!!!!! I really thought it was going to be followed on with on off the characters saying "Well, I'm not going out tonight, because it's on ITV1 at 9pm". Terrible episode IMHO.

I have to agree.
It was the first time ever that me and he looked at each other during the ad break and wondered if we would continue watching.
Both script and acting were dire.
