Is anybody going to watch this on ITV starting tomorrow. I don't know how long it's to go on for but here's a short wrap-up.

Contestants include Anne Charleston, Mark Charnock, Chris Chittell, Malcolm Hebden, Clive Hornby, Jennie McAlpine, Blair McDonough, Jimmy McKenna, Philip Olivier, Wendi Peters Jayne Tunnicliffe, Dominic Brunt, Bill Roache, Carly Stenson and Hayley Tamaddon.

I'm quite looking forward to this - Mark Charnock reckons he's a lousy chef, so we shall see.

Does the audience vote with red tomatoes or green peppers?

As she's leaving Corrie later this year, maybe she is thinking of taking up a new career?

this sounds like utter trash, just an ITV knock off of celebrity ready steady cook, which is itself is a pretty cringeworthy extension of the RSC brand.

I think there should be a ban on anything on tv with 'celebrity' or 'soapstar' in the title.

I know that is the case, it's just the same old nonsense and it gets a little tired after a while thats all. Although I'd rather watch soapstar... than anymore quizcall type programming.

This rubbish is to keep us going until the next load of reality competition: Both ITV and BBC have started plugging the "let's find the next singers for a West End" show and I suppose they will be taking over Saturday nights until the Summer break. Yawn!!

ITV1 are scrapping the barrel yet again! They really need to reconsider what to commission if they really want to rebuild their credibility!

Agree - ITV is not going to get any credibility whilst it continues to churn out this rubbish. I heard about this a few days ago & seriously thought someone was having a laugh. These actors cannot have any career aspirations outside of soap as they are becoming a complete laughing stock being involved in this tripe.

How come Eastenders hardly ever take part?

And why Wendi Peters and Hayley Tamaddon again?

That show really was dross. What was the point?

I can picture the scene, a meeting somewhere in ITV HQ in January: "Let's pick two random actors from one show and two from another, then get them to cook a meal and see who scores the most points from three judges that most people will never have heard of. Won't it be great?!".

A waste of an hour. But then they did manage to squeeze in a phone-in competition

This is the sort of crap that Michael Grade really needs to pull the plug on. Thankfully it looks like it is only on for 2 weeks.

Although having said that, William Roache and Anne Charleston are on tomorrow, so I'll probably watch

I dont know why they have to show such utter dross when they could show decent programmes that are watchable.
