Well, Would you? Even if the money goes to Comic Relief? Even so she is a bad singer. It really would be good rather than just get to what they normaly do after taking part.

Definitely-a number 1 with "These boots are made for walking" would be a cert-of course it should be for comic relief next year!

It depends what it was - I would certainly listen to it if it were along the lines of 'Another Suitcase', 'Jolene' or 'Will You Love Me'. Hopefully, she has the talent to write something herself.

No. I thought she should win as she was the better entertainment of the four left in. However, she can't sing and she isn't as funny or entertaining as John watsisname was when he sang Maneater on JTTOU. Now, that was pure comedy and I would buy that for charity.

Unfortunately I think a record might be 'over-produced' and therefore to me would lack the instant appeal the the FA performances had. 'Boots' might work OK, but I want to remember 'Jolene' etc as Tara originally performed them - warts and all.
(Mind you, I buy very few records anyway. I think the last one I bought was Barry Manilow's 'Here at the Mayflower' in 2001 - the being for the year NOT for the record!)

If I hear her sing Boots Are Made for Walking AGAIN I will scream. Very disappointed she decided to sing it YET AGAIN at the final and came to the conclusion it was the only one she could sing in tune!! I preferred Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow!! Bless her, she cannot sing but they can do wonders, so I hear, in a recording studio!! How many of our "STARS" actually sing live, anyway!!

Actually I happen to think that a couple of months of voice training with the Grants really could make a massive improvement on Tara's voice - after all her voice in my opinion improved dramatically in just the couple of weeks FA went on, and that was after only 30 mins coaching each day! Admitedly she will never be a great singer by any stretch of the imagination, but then again, let's be honest, neither are half the music stars out there now. I would defo buy her single and if I didnt like it after playing it just the once, what the heck, the money would be going to charity in any event, cos she wouldnt I believe bring a record out to get profits for herself.

It is possible that most of the improvement in Tara's singing came from the relaxation training she had from Carrie. As we all saw, Tara was in a state of fear (almost terror) during her first few performances - her sweating was caused by much more than just the heat in the studio. It is difficult to sing in tune when every muscle in the body is either tense or shaking.
I don't think Carrie has received the credit she is due for helping Tara to calm down when she is performing.

Tara is an accomplished musician. I doubt whether she would agree to bring out a record that was not sung decently.
