Not sure if this has been previously discussed if it has i am sorry but sitting watching DOI again from saturday night i cant help but think the judges knew who they wanted as their final 2 and then the marks meant that these 2 would definitely get the votes ie clare top and kyran bottom, people will vote more for kyran as he is the bottom!??! anyone agree or am i just after a conspiracy theory??

I'm not sure how you have come to that conclusion to be honest ... but I do think that overall the two that the judges thought deserved to be in the skate off were Kyran and Clare. Personally, I would have liked Duncan to be in the top two but it wasn't to be.

Although I disagreed with the actual judges marks given I completely agree with the ranking the judges gave on Saturday night.

In fact, I have thought the judging fair throughout this series......I can only hope that the four wise monkeys on SCD 2007 manage to get it together as well.

No conspiracy at all. Clare was by far the best on the night. She deserved all those 6.00. Kyran on the other hand was disappointing. He deserved his victory though.

I didn't mind who won and wasn't going to vote for that reason, although I have a soft spot for Kyran. Anyway when he came bottom with the judges, and not realising that the judges votes didn't count on Saturday, I voted several times to help him! Kyran himself admitted on This Morning yesterday that coming bottom with the judges may have helped him as in previous weeks when he has come top, people haven't voted for him as they didn't think he needed the votes, whereas on Saturday he felt that the audience may have been guided by the judges scores, thereby prompting his fans to vote to save him.

I totally agree with babysquirrel. I had missed DOI on Sat eve but watched it last nite. IMHO Clare was the better skater. She presented it better than Kyran or Duncan and deserved to win.

The judges scoring is 'fixed' during the show to get people to vote. It happens on all these shows. Of course, Kyran fans came out in their droves on Saturday & also Claire fans thinking that she had a chance of winning. Why people are so conned by these shows just astounds me. In this instance along with SCD it doesn't matter who wins as it will not change anything for the winner or loser in terms of their career Just enjoy it for what it is entertainment - don't waste your money

I thought the judges' votes were very fair: Kyran did seem to have an 'off' night. I think he deserved to win, based on overall performance, though. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but if I was going to suscribe to a conspiracy theory, I'd say it was more likely that Kyran tried slightly less hard, thinking top marks would do him more harm than good, rather than that the judges had marked him low for the sympathy vote. However, I don't really believe that happened, either. I'm happy with the result. Emily's long run in the contest made me really appreciate the three who were left!
