So what? If anything, Leanne is exploiting him and his inability to find a proper girlfriend, I personally didn't see any evidence of exploitation in the scenes we just saw.

I just knew those two were going to be hilarious on the golf course. It looks as though they really enjoyed doing the scene too.

Yes! Seriously great stuff, I really loved it. Steve's legendary facial expressions are even better when he's working with someone.

Tonights episode was one I actually enjoyed , a first in a while! Corrie is more enjoyable lately! Loved Leanne's accent!

Liking Jodie, Jerry and Kayleigh, not so sure about Darryl and Mel, but there's time for them to grow more ! Surprised Grandad Rodney wasn't in it tonight, what with Jerry's opening! Liked the stunt Jerry and Co. pulled on the Lights Man!

Ps, where does Rodney (Grandad Morton ) live!

Funny thing is that a lot of actors play golf on their days off (e.g. Johnny Briggs) and are usually not bad so playing the way were would be an even greater laugh

Loved the Morton's tonight, really warming to them. And from the conversation with Daryll and David I can see how

Spoiler
Darryll is going to bring out the very worst in him
because David will probably want to impress him, if not for him then his sister.

Steve and Dev were absolutley hilarious tonight
Leanne stuff was alright, though that phonecall to Les, I dont believe he was told about a job, where and when in that... hm, 2 seconds?
And urgh, we had to see Ryan again

8 out of 10 tonight, I enjoyed it!

Shows how much you know. Corrie was not "built on comedy". Humour is a part of what makes it so good but it is not what it was built on, its not a sit-com

Maybe "humour" would be a better word but I get where Danny is coming from. Corrie has no peer on this

Is there really any need to be so touchy? I very much doubt you created the show so calm down

A so-so episode for tonight's first offering.

It was nice to see the upstairs at Underworld, although some of that material looked like it was more suited to curtains than Underwear!

Dev, Steve & Paul got some good stuff on the golf course. Laughed at dev's jumper, Steve's hat & the fact that Steve got off to a better start than the other two.

Leanne's 'posh' voice was very funny, although you have to wonder how "Rachel" got on first names terms with "George" so quicky considering she hasn't been back in the country that long! Her talk about the agency, invoices, secretarial fees etc was also good.

Liked Deirdre's "everybody needs good Neighbours!"

Reet & Norris were ok, although they have had better material to work with in the past.

Haven't quite managed to work up any interest in the Mortons yet & nothing I saw tonight changed that. However, as I said last night they will take time to "bed in"

6 and a half out of 10.
