Is the way to a man's heart through his stomach? Del and Diane seem to think so after they persuade Marlon to cook a three-course meal in an attempt to try to reunite Val with Pollard.
All is going well until Val questions Pollard's loyalty to David – and Pollard defends his son. Soon the row is spilling into the Woolpack – no such thing as a quiet pint in Emmerdale!
Elsewhere, Victoria begins to question her mother's death after Jack shows her a picture of Sarah. After giving Diane her Mother's Day gift Victoria stumps her stepmother by asking if there is something more to Sarah's death and whether the police would reinvestigate her case. Diane begs her to drop the subject but will Victoria oblige?
Later, Jack asks Daz if he's spoken to Billy about the adoption yet and Daz lies that he has, to avoid hurting Jack. Jack is pleased that some progress is being made – but for how long can Daz keep lying
