00800 numbers

Does anyone know how much these calls are charged at?

I have a BT landline but as it's an 00800 number as opposed to an 0800 number, I'm not sure whether they're free or not

It seems to be an international version of 0800, which appears to be free, although I'm not absolutely sure and can't find much on the net.

BTW, did you know that 00979 numbers are international premium rate?

I'd never heard of UIPRNs until I consulted Wikipedia on the UIFNs (00800) issue above.

I use an Orchid to bar 09 and 070 calls on my landline and, now that I know about them, the program's going to be changed to bar 00979 calls as well!
