Carrie throws a wobbly when she hears that the three King brothers have been arrested – and she declares she wants nothing more to do with them.
In order to get them out of her life for ever she insists that they buy out Scarlett's shares. The news brings mixed reactions from the brothers – Matthew's thrilled but sensitive Jimmy isn't ready to give up his new-found little sister that easily.
Elsewhere, Jack is flummoxed when Billy catches him in the street and reiterates his objections to Daz's adoption.
A confused Jack asks Daz for an explanation and the youngster promises that he will speak to Billy again. When Billy and his son talk about Daz's birthday plans, a saddened Billy explains that he can't lose him to Jack - leaving Daz worried how Jack will react.
Meanwhile, David's happy to hear that Del's in on his plan to exact revenge on Pollard – what happened to the Del who wouldn't hurt a fly?
Pollard apologises to David over the DNA situation, explaining it was different then as they were strangers. David accepts his apology but little does Pollard know that his son is about to make his first steps to embezzle his money, with Del a willing participant.
