I have a D900 and love it, great camera and music player - very good all round phone.

i agree with s max however I had a D900 and loved it.
Brilliant camera, good battery and very stylish.
K800i is a little bit chunky and ugly for me.
The 6300 is the latest from Nokia and the have done everything to make this a popular handset.
Iv not had a play on it though...

I'm also in the SE K800i/ Samsung D900 choice at the moment, and am leaning towards the D900. However, I've never had a Samsung, and although the phone looks very sexy (love the slider!), I have heard that you can't assign MP3 sounds to tones for the text alerts, which would be a big bummer for me.
Any truth in that rumour?
Thx

The K810i is coming out soon if you can wait , it's a slimmer prettier version of the k800i

No it's more like the k800i but slimmer and sleeker with the Zenon flash and 3.3 megapixel camera , radio , mp3 etc

OK, and how much better than (or different to) the k800i is that?

It's not very different to the k800, but I'd still run with that one over the others. The 6300 is a nice handset, but the camera is better on the k800/810. The samsung is too prone to getting damaged in your pocket as the screen is very exposed and the screen itself is very thin. Beware because this woulod not be ccovered by the warranty, so you would have to pay for he repair

Thanks all for your advice, I went with the D900, and so far, after a few days, I am very pleased with my choice. True you can't have MP3's for msg, but you can for the ringtone, and the lead to connect it to my PC came with the phone. I have not found a message counter as I liked to keep track of how many I've sent monthly, trying to keep within my 500 free limit! Other than that, the handset seems to be very good, the buttons for texting are very easy to use which for me is one of the most important features. I would definetley recommend this handset and the service I received at 02.
