connection advice for all my equipment
i would greatly appreciate some advice on connecting ALL my equipment to a new samsung R74 series LCD screen im planning to buy and wanted to do some planning
if your not familiar with the R74 series you can get a manual on samsungs website but off the top of my head it has.... deep breath 2xScart S-Video (in) AV (in) Video and Audio L&R i want to connect the following DVD/VHS combi (nothing special pretty generic model) TopUpTV Anytime Box Playstation 2 if anyone has a similar setup or some advice that would be cool thanks

SCART leads:-
TUTV --> (AV2) Combi (AV1) --> (AV1) TV PS2 ----------------------------> (AV2) TV RF aerial co-ax:- TUTV --> Combi --> TV you may want to swap the AV1 / AV2 connections on the TV around depending on where you want the RGB video signal quality. Is the DVD part of the combi RGB capable (the VHS part will not be)? Is the PS2 RGB capable? Last edited by gomezz : 21-03-2007 at 07:40. |

sorry yes forgot to mention the PS2 has the seperate video Stereo L & R connector but i have a scart adapter for that as well so it is scart capable.
the combi i mentioned is a combined dvd/vcr recorder, not sure what connectors are at the back havnt been round the back for a while

for anyone who's interested if you have the ability to plug a PS2 into your tele via component cables thats 5 phono cables that are Red Blue Green and then two audio cables i highly remcommend it, bought one from game last night for 7quid and its an immediate improvement well chuffed
