hello guys, Just to let you know I have heard that Claire Richards(Of Steps fame) is very close to joining Eastenders as a friend of Carly Wicks...would this be a good move by Eastenders??

where did you hear this? Claire hasn't long given birth, and I had no idea she was an actress

You dont need to be an actors these days to get a part in soapland. Kym Marsh, Adam Ricket, Keith Duffy and Anthpny Cotton all got parts without any acting lessons at all.

im sure claire could act as well as some (carly) current cast members...im not bothered if its true but im not believing it! I have a contact myself who im off to contact about this! ill let you know what she says....

Anthony Cotton has been acting for years and Kym Ryder trained before joining Corrie too, both are now very good actors IMO and Keith Duffy wasn't bad either
