hi, Jim'll fix it is on on the Thursday before Easter which is the 5th April I think.

Ian is on it with the person who wrote in to Jim. It was filmed during SCD so is already 'in the can' and should be really good. Given my record for saying things I am not supposed to say I will not give away anymore details though I was not told it was secret.

It's no secret, EJ.

It's on UKTV Gold. It's called Jim'll Fix It Strikes Again and it's on Thursdays at 9pm from 5th April. I believe Ian is on the first episode.

I know the return of the programme is not a secret. Or that Ian is on the first one. Just that Ian told me the details of what he had been doing and unless that is on the trailer then I will keep that to myself.

Will be watching it though and recording it.

I don't think it's much of a secret, there was an audience full of people there to see it, including me.

Well lucky you! Then you can tell everyone about it if you so wish.
I will wait for it to go on air, even though I was told about the training as well as the studio bit.
I get the distinct impression that you are trying to needle me for some unknown reason.
The advance info about when the show was on was for those who did not see it recorded or had no idea when it was being shown.
I did not actually say it was a secret, just that I had to be wary of giving things away which MIGHT be secret.

Im definitely looking forward to it -even though 'Sir' Jimmy gives me the willies.....(Not literally, I should point out!)
Lets hope it doesnt spur him on to take part in the next series!

Thanks EJ I didn't know anything about it, not having been at the recording and was unlikely to have found it in the TV Times or whatever, so I'm grateful and am looking forward to watching it. And I'd rather not know what happened beforehand!

Jim is Jimmy Saville. There was a programme where people wrote in and asked him to fix it for them to do something they always wanted to do or meet a star or something like that. They are bringing it back and Ian is on the first show.

Oh dear. This wasn't my intention.

I was just pointing out that when 200 people see it being recorded, I don't think you'd have got into schtook if you'd said more.

However, in order that everyone else can enjoy the programme, I'm totally with you on the not saying anything. I never intended to either.

You are all in for a treat though.

If that is by way of apology then it is accepted. A lot of forumites got the impression that you were being sarcastic as I did.

I will see Ian before the show goes out, that is a bigger treat for me as I get to dance with him. I have him to myself for 45 minutes. I will be watching it though and recording it.

It was the MOST amazing experience of my whole life and Ian is such a sweetheart. Have stayed in touch since my weekend I had at BBC in December, even got a text off him on Boxing Day wishing me Happy Xmas. I've been looking forward to seeing the show since it was recorded but all the hype in the papers etc is just making it all the more exciting !!
It seems a bit surreal

Ah he sounds lovely, how was Sir Jim? what made you write in and did you ask for Ian?

Sorry for all the questions!

Of course I asked for Ian - who else is there ?? He is wonderful.
Saw him dance tango with Zoe 2005 and said then that if there was still such a thing as Jim'll Fix It I would write up and ask to that with him. then there was a small piece in the mirror in October saying Jim was bringing the show back, on UKTV so I got on the website, got their address and wrote in. Next thing I know I'm off to London to meet Ian, and all the other dancing celebs, dancing in front of judges and audience and the rest can be seen tomorrow!
Sir Jim was lovely when I met him in Jan to get my badge, which is much heavier than it looks.
Anyway hope you enjoy the show
