Corrie ~ Wednesday 21 March
Wednesday, 21 March, 7.30 - 8pm
Over a tense breakfast at the Barlows Tracy (Kate Ford) is hyper-sensitive to everything that's being said, especially by her mum. Peter (Chris Gascoyne) has had as much as he can take and later seeks solace with Maria (Samia Smith). After an enjoyable dinner he leaves Maria's flat with a promise to do it again some time but neither had bargained on Tracy spotting them together! Furious she lets rip at them both and tries to attack Maria. As Ken (William Roache) tries to pull her off the terrified hairdresser Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) struggles to breathe and as she clutches her chest it soon becomes clear that she isn't well. Has the strain of the trial proved too much for stressed-out Deirdre? Janice (Vicky Entwistle) is still reeling over her discovery of Leanne's real profession and is determined to try and put a stop to it. After failing to get a wages advance or borrow money off her mates she decides to take extreme measures to raise some cash for her step-daughter. Will Leanne (Jane Danson) agree to stop her escorting? With Jerry's open for businesss Roy (David Neilson) is aware that his profits may be affected but is trying to put a brave face on things and making sure that he stays friends with his rival. Meanwhile the residents loyalties are tested as Jerry's kebabs start to go down a storm. At the Rovers Derek (David Hounslow) enjoys a drink with Liz (Beverly Callard) and offers to take her out again. She is tempted but declines so he writes his number down in case she changes her mind. This episode is written by Chris Fewtrell, produced by Steve Frost and directed by Tim O'Mara. Discuss here!

Liked the Deirdre panic attack stuff-best part of the episode. Showing it from as if Deirdre was seeing it all-a technique not used very often.
Rest of the episode was average but added a nice touch to the episode. 6/10
