DHD4000 blank channels in Brighton area
Kingers
21-03-2007
Anyone had any problems with your box refusing to display some channels in Brighton recently?
It may be the snow t'other day but I've had to do the old "three finger salute" several times recently because the box has suddenly started refusing to display some channels (not all, just some).
A warm restart has not cleared the problem, although it may change the channels that won't display.
Unfortunately I can't say for certain whether it was just one mux or not that was affected.

Anyway if anyone else has had the same this week I'd like to know.
Or maybe the box/disk is on the way out.

Kingers.

More likely something to do with the aerial and/or cabling deteriorating.

You may be right but as both the coax and aerial are less than a year old I'm pretty sure they are okay.

I'll keep watching and see how she goes.

It's not something to do with the high winds we've had of late knocking your ariel is it? Certainly I'd say that (rather than snow) would more likely be the cause?

PS: I'm in Hove and have no problems with mine...
