The manual (page 17) says there is a through function so you can record on the recorder at the same time as watching a video on a linked VCR but I cant get that to happen any clues? I've connected up exactly as in the diagram..

You need to press the + channel button on the front of the unit behind the flap. Doesn't work from the remote.

hi, hopefully someone can help . I have a Pioneer 440 hx-s and sky + box. Can someone please tell me the correct way to connect these together so that I can watch either sky or freeview . I'm not too bothered about recording on the pioneer as the sky + will do this but it would be nice to be able to just in case I want to copy any recordings to dvd. thank you in advance.
