Final 11-A Brit's Eye View

Well, for the first time I really enjoyed tonight. I think the gap between the good, the bad and the downright awful is becoming more defined.
Julia, Corey , Carmen and Charles dont belong on the stage. To say they sucked is an understatement.
I was pleasantly surprised by Rickey- he's always annoyed me up to tonight, but- a decent voice and seems a nice guy. Kimberley C I cant take to, she so "me, me, me" Is there ever a time that she isn't searching for the camera? Although she did work that stage, the song was crap.
Kimberley Locke, Josh Gracin and yes Ruben are all singers, but they lack the X factor so beloved of Simon. (btw I agree with tabloid stories that he's been way too keen on the botox injections, his face isn't half so sneery- I was very impressed with the push ups though- way to go Si!!)
For me the stand out performances are Trenyce, but yet again, I agree with Simon on the dress-far too cocktail/evening style. She needs a more funkier look.
But Clay. What can I say? He knocks spots off all the others. He reminds me of Will - genuinely surprised at how popular he is and with that same humility that makes you love him. He may look a bit geeky, but I could listen to him sing anytime.
I thought this was the best show so far. The two added bonuses of having Gladys Knight and Kelly Clarkson was great, but lawd- that movie looks truly cringemaking, a real downmarket cheap rip off of Grease
Listening to Corey and Ruben singing, can you imagine what Lemar would have done with those songs? I might not have liked Lemars style, but boy he could show them how it should have been done.
So, thats my verdict on tonights show. Wouldn't mind Kristen's job. That mansion looks pretty amazing.

Now lets work this out Ben.... Kimberley C, Carmen, Rosie.....mmmm nothing to do with them all being beautiful blondes would it?
I too love Rosie, but I think she's much better now- loved "Blink". She always looked as if she was petrified and/or grumpy during Pop Idol. I dont think it showed her at her best, but at least she got a record deal.

Another Brit view

Clay and Reuben blew me away, really. I think what the X factor to me is not are they technically good but how long could I listen to them, and these guys I could listen to till the cows come home.

Trenyce is not my kind of singer but I really think her voice is stunning, and yup not liking teh dress. It wasn't flattering to her cleavage and agree with tally, too cocktaily.

I'm quite new to AI, so can someone help me, which of the female blond singers wore red trousers and a black top last week? I have got the two girls totally confused.

Also Kimberely Locke (sp?) with her straight hair was a huge difference, it made her look sexy instead of "fun", which i think was a change she needed to make.

Something I've noticed that has made me think is when they are singign the group songs, I noticed some of the singers are VERy good at interacting with the others - Clay for example seems to be great at singing to whichever girl he's next to (which bodes well for his career, I can see girls fainting feeling he's singing the song to them). Other just seem totally oblivious to whoever is standing around them, which IMO colours my view of them, seems they are so focussed on themselevs and singing their part, that they forget they are performing as a group.
