What Is It With Mobile Phones In EastEnders!!
I really think EastEnders is using TOO much mobile phones now!!
Its normally involving Stacey and Max and sometimes other characters...Dawn as i just saw. I think they need to do it the old fashioned way and actually talk...or scream and shout the classic EE way!! |

I also hate the way in soaps and other programmes where people make phone calls on mobiles and it seems to connect almost instantly!
I wish my mobile did that!! |

How come they've all got each others phone numbers regardless of whether there is any relationship?

I don't see the problem of them moving on with the times in a generation where almost everyone has a mobile??

Why is it that in eastenders - people that hate each other, have each other's mobile numbers?
for example: Phil and Martin never liked each other, yet when Martin threatened to throw Ben over the bridge, Phil phoned Martin on his mobile to let Ben go Johnny Allen and Phil never liked eash other, yet they had each other's mobile numbers Sean Slater and Jake Moon never liked each other, but Sean somehow had Jake's phone number |

Sean & Jake were working together with Jake being incharge of Sean so obviously he needed his number. |

And also, no-one ever seems to be slightly polite and say goodbye, they just hang up.

I think using the phones is a sign of the times changing. Be honest, if you need to speak to somebody now would you go and see them, or just ring/text them. Which is easier - and less likely to create a scene. Also, ther are still alot of slanging matches, which are mainly in the vic, so ee is still including these.
Also, although it is strange that enemies have each others numbers, there is probably some kind of explanation for thie. |

Some of the characters have really expensive mobiles. I've spotted Stacey with a pink Nokia 7373 recently. This phone costs knocking on £200!

I've never seen anyone say do you have this persons number?
They magically seem to always have it, as a poster said above. |
