Sean Slater - NASTY BOY??!
Word had it on the grapevine, when Sean first entered EE that he was the nastiest boy EVA!!
However... I have felt, along with many others, that he has become more palatable. So, what's going on here? He was supposed to be a man who we have only seen the ice above the surface of... There was all that intriguing funny stuff with his mum ... and then that sort of tailed off. He's aloof, cold, calculating and cares for no-one but himself - definately damaged stock (I reckon a bit Steve Owen, damaged by an obsessed Mum - time will out). But.. I'm worrying a little as this is a real slow burner... I know he was suspended so storylines are a bit behind involving him, but, nonetheless... Sean, Did his mum abuse him? What is his story!!!??? Your thoughts...? (He is lush btw, but this is a storyline discussion, not an appreciation thread!) Last edited by trinsk : 23-03-2007 at 22:59. |

He gives me the creeps
I don't think he's particularly nice character - but not sure if they'll make him an all out baddie!!

To be honest, he strikes me as a bit of a loser. He seems to just sit around in front of the TV or in the pub all day, occasionally stirring up trouble or giving someone an evil look.
I can't see how they're going to redeem his character after his introductory storyline. If he's going to change, he's going to get worse. |

Sean is a brilliant actor and plays a great character, good looking, can act, proper sexy, not short of girls running after him

He's boring and his character makes no sense. I can't understand how he's ever had a girlfriend with a personality like that.

He is sexy, hot, gorgeous smile, gorgeous eyes, gorgeous body....we can only hope he gets nastier...and if I'm right and he starts on Peggy then I'm guessing he will do.
He's got some fantastic storylines coming up and I'm guessing this might be one of them. |

![]() I'd like him better if it was clear why he was nasty. I'm sure even the most bitchy/bullying people usually have a reason, whether it be their own personal problems or a dislike of the person they are being nasty to. Sean seems to do it at random to people he doesn't even know with no provocation. |

Oh, Bradley too. with him being rude to charlie may explain his past relations with his parents, theres something thats happened in the past to make him the way he is. as for bradley well he was seeing his sister, so maybe to watch out for her he needed to make bradley know if he messes her around he will be there. |

How about Billy? I remember the very first time they met, Sean started making remarks about Billy treating Mo badly by not accepting her rapist's baby. He'd known Billy all of five seconds and he was making hurtful comments like that about what was probably one of the most difficult and tragic experiences of Billy's life, and which almost any man would probably find difficult to cope with at least for a little while.

Charlie promised to look after Jean at their dads funeral and didn't follow through. Sean is angry at him for that...but Sean deserted both his mum and sis for some reason, I don't know why but I'm guessing it's a big reason.

He didn't want her to touch him at all and it was apparent there's some verrry bad history there. I couldn't stand him at first - he overacted with his face - but he's getting better all the time. There's something quite intriguing about him for sure. As an actor he reminds me so much of a young Mel Gibson (taller though ) and I'm looking forward to seeing him in movies (I hope) one day.

I reckon there was some abuse there. It will rear it's head, mark my words... oooh! (spooky fortune teller mist and crap)!! Last edited by trinsk : 24-03-2007 at 01:20. |

Doesn't really explain the severe reaction but I'm hoping that she didn't abuse him. Someone said on another thread that they wouldn't go down this road due to the fact that EE won a mental health award for Jean. |
