Oh! "Plummy Bloke" used to be an officer in the Army.

Now I understand my instant dislike of him.

Typical! They never get anywhere as they are too busy with their own egos.

If they stopped trying to ALL be the big "I AM" at the same time, they might get somewhere.

How cringe-worthy was that song? The board room should be interesting

Poor decision on Sir Alan's part. On what grounds was he sacked over the other two?

Well the woman driving the mobile coffee shop was attempting to correct her geographical error and find a better spot, but he called her back. So that's why he was fired over her.

the women both screwed up but he should have known about it straight away and sorted it

I think they were both very lame but he was never going to cut it

I really can't believe these are '16 of the best brains in Britain'

It's like any job interview, It's not always the best person that gets the job. There's many that still think that about last years winner.

Maybe they were the best on the day they auditioned or it was a close call when it got down to the last 20 or so candidates. It should be the best but only of those who applied and those that picked them.

Of course they aren't! Thats the whole point. Who wants to watch two teams of competent, intelligent people run a series of small businesses in a calm and orderly manner? Its much better telly to see a load of muppets run round like their trousers are on fire.

The secret to casting shows like this - stupid people who think they're clever...

I thought Sir Alan made a mistake sacking Andy, he seemed a nice enough bloke, and he blatently told the geek woman to order just 20 litres of milk and she went over his head. Whose fault was that? Probably the first mistake of many Sir Alan will make this series (his last mistake was picking that dimwitted blonde girl over Ruth Badger).

Jadine was the most vile, abhorrent person I've seen on tv since Celbrity Big Brother. She succeeded in winding me up with her bolshy, overbearing attitude - terrible management job and I hope she's sacked as soon as she comes up. I really don't want to see her on tv again, but know I will.

Tbh, in these early weeks, I'd hide in the background as much as possible. Seems like those who put themselves forward always get sacked.

That Ghazal has been totally anonymous in the first episode..I think she only spoke 10 words.

Andy was like Ben last year, a nice bloke but far too nice for the business world.

Mind you on Teletext today he lays into the other contestants saying a lot of them, especially Tre, have ulterior motives.

There's only one job so having a back up plan isn't a bad thing

Peopl who actually are fantastic at business, with intelligant minds, are not on the apprentice - they are busy running businesses.

These are the people who, with their big egos, think they are it

Andy deserved to be sacked, the buck stops at the top. He didn't have a clue about locations, he didn't have a clue how to control his team! Jadine was losing the plot on the other team, yet she made Andy look a complete fool, when it came to the final result.

A poor mans David Brent.
