Looked a bit challenged at the end. You can't love every act that much' especially this year!

think it was genuine at first and then the stupid cameramen kept zooming in on her making her duty bound to carry on.

she was only young and the attention must have been a bit too much for her to handle.

she was very odd. and more than a touch scary.

anybody else noticing how bad the camerawork was this week? missed shots, shot of the floor, complete inability to zoom in in chris sligh (and how can you miss him?!) etc etc

maybe it's been bad before but was obvious last night i thought.

a friend of mine in america told me this about the 'crying' girl
=========================================
This girl has gotten a LOT of attention in the media. Apparently she is a 13 year old girl who went to the dress rehearsal and the producers noticed she was crying during some of the perfomances. So, they gave her tickets and a seat close to the front for the actual TV show. I think the producers were trying to recreate the feeling of all of the girls crying and shrieking when the Beatles first came over since the theme of the show was the British invasion. As for the girl she is a fan of Sanjaya and was just feeling very overwhelmed and excited about seeing him perform in person.

Why would she embarrass herself like that on tv! At first I thought she may have been retarted but it seems like she's just a damn fool.

Nothing against the girl- she brought some much needed comedy to the show but I genuninely did wonder if she was retarded though the whole thing was odd- seemed kinda like a set up actually.

13??? If she was 7or 8 I would have thought it was cute but at 13 it's just annoying.
