I doubt it.

Wasn't his last stint the final one, as he did not want to keep appearing for short periods of time, only to disappear to another country again.

^ Yeh. I thought the producers were really annoyed with his comings and goings.

Everyone on here was talking about it that way when he was last in it.

I think it is natural for someone to come back from time to time. It shows a sense of realism due to the fact that the whole world does not live on Albert Square. I think the producers would be crazy to kill him. He is a good charactor and for me it works when he comes back from time to time.

lol, So true.

If I never see that bloke back in Albert Square again it'll be too soon. Anyway, isn't that a really, really old 'rumour' that turned out never to have any substance to it?

I would rather see Grant come and go than not have him there at all or kill him off.

The only reason for him to come back is to kill him off.

He was a crap character, with ideas above his station (just like the rest of that motly crew otherwise known as the Mitchells.)

The sooner EE gets shot of them, the better.

I was thinking that maybe he might 'show up' for a reunion with some of his army buddies as its 25 years since the Falklands and on more than 1 occassion Peggy has mentioned when she, Sam and Phil went to Southampton to wave Grant off....Oh I'm forgetting EE don't mention things that go on in the real world!

The Eastenders that I watch must be different. I am sure they celebrated the Queens Golden Jubilee, were they not celebrating the World Cup last year as well?
I think it is more realistic for a 'family member' to appear on and off, to be there in times of need as families do. To kill him off is laziness.
I can't remember the last time a soap had someone die Naturally. Actually I can it was Seth Armstrong in Emmerdale, but those episodes were dedicated to him as he had passed away.
