Strange event the other day. Set up to record two consecutive (but overlapping because of buffers) programmes on BBC4. The first was fine on playback, including a snippet of the second in its buffer, but the second was completely without pictures though sound was fine. I have since tried to duplicate the problem, but both recorded normally, and all else is behaving as expected, so it would seem not to be a defective tuner.

Usually have to turn unit on and off to sovle this. Somtimes if u select the channel though guide instead of using channel up/ down it works.

Happens with mine about once a week
