Motorola V3 help?
Hi, i bought a mobile about 4 years ago and never even used it but i need one now to keep in contact with people, My old one is an Old nokia 3400 i think(the next one after the 3210) and by todays standards its a brick. I am looking into buying a V3 because it looks nice and i really only need a phone for texting and phone calls, not bothered about pictures or video. They used to be around £100 6 months ago and i dont want a 2nd hand from ebay so does anyone know the cheapest you can buy these new?
Tesco have a deal on that its £44.99 if you buy £20 airtime for £69.99 just for the phone! (i cant understand why you would pay more for no airtime???) anyway has anyone found one for less? |

V3 is crap I'd go for a V3i or a V3x. Actually I wouldn't touch motorola but if you have to go for a V3 series thats what I'd suggest.

There are a number of budget handsets, perfect for calling a texting, and quite stylish. Have a look at: Motorola V3 on O2 + £10 airtime, total price £59.99 Same as above but in Pink if you're a lady One of my personal favourite slider budget phones, Samsung C300 on Virgin Mobile, only £39.99 Nokia 2650 flip phone on Orange, £24.99 Nokia 1600 on Orange, £39.99 Hope some of them are helpful and show you what's out there for the money. |

Motorolas can take a little getting used to with texting, but once you've got the hang of it it's a breeze.

No, it has both predictive text and standard text, you just select which one you would like to use (the instruction manual will tell you how to change it).
It's a bit different to Nokia phones but nothing major. |
