time bug on power on
skycatcher

Hi,

I have noticed a regular (but not consistant) problem when the pvr has the power turned on ( from the mains). After it goes through its disk check quite often the time doesn't come up on the display - it remains as --:-- ! When this happens none of the timers work. To fix it you have to turn it on from the handset to a channel & then it is OK.

I'm using a Techwood 160gb device with twin record s/w.

Anyone else found this?

Yeah I've noticed this, after a power cut/unplug, the device refuses to read the time signal from the broadcasts until it's switched on.

Not really a major problem though as it's pretty obvious; if the device didn't have the clock on the front then it would be!
