SIM card not accepted on an unlocked phone
Hi,
I've got an old 6210e that I want to use with my car kit, but it is was locked to Orange and my work phone is O2. I unlocked it using a code off the interwebbernet, and it told me that the restriction had been removed. I excitedly (well, maybe not quite...) put my O2 sim in, and it is still telling me that the SIM card is not accepted. OK, I though, maybe the code just didn't accept properly, so I tried a code from another source and entered that instead. It told me that the SIM card restriction wasn't there. I still have the same problem with both my O2 and Virgin SIMs. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the problem for me here? All advice gratefully recieved!! |

Are you entering the unlock code with a new network SIM?
Some old Nokias require that you leave the current SIM card in the phone when you input the code
