im a a bit confused.

i have noticed this a few times in corrie. dedrie smokes silk cut silver, she is alway seen or in the last couple of weeks iv always seen her holding a packet of silk cut silver. these are king size cigs. yet if you ever notice when she sparks up or she is smoking she is smoking superking size cigs!!

the video in the first post in this thread is a classic example. dedrie is holding her king size silk cut silver packet she starts fumbeling behind the bottle and magically starts smoking a superking!!

What about her trick of blowing smoke inside bubbles that she did when Tracy was small. Now that would be worth seeing!

yeah that baffled me too. if that were me when i smoked i would have looked for a lighter and failing that lit it off the cooker in the kitchen!

I tried it out last night with some bubbles... it's not all that great!

Some of the worlds best Bubble Entertainers have based their entire act round such a trick. Its the quality of the bubble mix thats important.

Yep, there was an American guy who was one of Paul Daniels' regulars on his BBC show who did the smoke bubbles. I remember him saying he wanted to give up smoking but not the act.

Deidre has smoked more in 2 weeks than she ever did on screen in the last 35 years !

smoke in bubbles is easy to do...you just need some bubble mix and a straw....and a fag on the go..

Well all the soaps recently seem to be showing the characters who smoke, smoking a lot more over the past few weeks, I wonder if this is something to do with the smoking ban coming in a few weeks, no doubt they'll be a few storylines to go with it.
