Hmm, doesn't on my Daewoo. I'll have to look into that. (I know we're in Digihome here, but the machines are almost identical in nature).

I think the language settings are incidental. I doubt the powers that be think it worth having audio description on a channel that only provides mono. I've never gotten to grips with audio description; I can select it on my Sagem occasionally where it is available, but it replaces the normal audio instead of complementing it. But as far as I recall it accompanied a stereo broadcast. I think the one I have in mind was Lord of the Rings, or something similar.

No, not necessarily stereo
sound, but still a stereo channel, even if the
content is mono. Just because one programme is mono, it doesn't mean the others are. It may even be just the adverts that are stereo.
