The prosecution had already established that Tracy had no marks on her except the two minor cuts on both sides of her hands. So why didn`t they ask her why as a woman who had been battered by her boyfriend to the point that she was leaving him she didn`t have a single bruise on her body.
I have always thought that the weakness in Tracy`s story is that she only lived with Charlie for 6 months, not long compared to women who have killed in desparation.

But when the adranaline flows, you find the energy. I can lift much heavier weights when I am hyped up than when I am relaxed.

Apparently, a mother lifted up a 10 ton truck to save her young child, yet couldn't open a jar normally.

OOH I don't know! I hope she goes down for being so evil, but on the other hand I want to get off so that there's more story to it!

They've filmed her being locked in the prison van. Was that a red herring? The only signs of 'not guilty' the press office have shown are the court pictures, I don't think Corrie's press office realise some people have seen the Rex pictures! - and there's no way Ken would look happy like that if Toxic got off. He'd look disgusted, going by the way he's been acting!

Tomorrow night Deirdre tells Toxic's solicitor the truth, that Toxic deliberately killed Charlie and made up the abuse story. she tells Toxic she's disgusted with her. She spends her life defending victims of real abuse. To which she gets a typical Toxic response. I think if she was found not guilty even she would complain about it!

She lies in the box, but she tells the truth out of it, to Toxic's solicitor. Suppose that's a twist!

Surely in real life if a defendant confesses her guilt to a barrister then they are duty bound to resign from the case. Anyone know?

I know people slag off Kate Ford but she wss brilliant last night. I'm going to miss Tracy.

Can't warm to the Mortons at all. They feel out of place.

don't know, but look at the number of people who're as guilty as sin, but get off on a technicality, e.g, Mr Alexander Ferguson of Moan U and his speeding exploits.

"Yes, m' lud, but I had the runs"

Why can't Ken say he wants to give evidence if Dierdre won't?
(or won't tell the truth)

The your side/Charlie's side thing - at the very end of Monday night's episode Tracy said to Dierdre, when she said she was on her side but wouldn't lie, "Charlie was an evil man, and you're not on my side, you're on his." Probably not exact words, but that was what Dierdre repeated back last night.

Could mean anything, she's probably realised that Tracey is more evil than Charlie was.

If Tracy said she was worried about waking Amy, why did she say twice, in answer to questions that she could hear her crying upstairs?

If David gets caughts out lying on the stand do you think he'll be charged with perjury? He could also be charged with perverting the course of justice.

What do you reckon?

I thought Kate Ford really raised her game in last night's episode. She was thoroughly confince IMO and I will be very sad to see her go.

I'm really looking forward to David taking the witness stand. He's bound to be a cocky little s**t.

I think it has to be a guilty verdict. The whole no-blood-on-the-ornament thing is overwhelming. Presumably there are fingerprints on there from both hands (?) and she obviously couldn't wield it with one hand. And even if she could, it would make no sense to actually do that.

at 16? he's still a minor in the eyes of the law.

edited to add: perhaps Tracy could be prosecuted instead for encouraging his perjury.

He can still be prosecuted though surely. People under 18 can be charged with criminal offences if they're over the age of 10.
