Anyone got one ? Or know anyone who has one ?

price seems a bit too good to be true - especially one that claims to be a digital ready TV as well.

I'm after a digital TV for my mum and this one seems far too cheap. She's not a brand junkie or anything, so i'm not worried if it's a beko, akura or from dave's dodgy TV's as long as it works and lasts.

I've got a 28 inch widescreen akura TV and it's lasted me about 6 years so far with no problems.

I've searched around for reviews of this particular telly but haven't found any so far, so if anyone has one or knows anyone who has one and can tell me if they're any good then i'd be extremely grateful - thanks.

I notice they don't have any in stock?, I would suspect the listed price was to dump the stock they had, so probably won't be getting any more at that price?.

Beko are one of the cheap Turkish manufacturers, so their stuff isn't great, but at that price you can't grumble!.

that might be the case actually - the average price elsewhere for this model seems to be in the 150 ballpark.

would be a shame if they've sold out permanently though.

well i rang tesco and they said there's no indication it was an end of range clearance, or that it was being sold at a discounted price.

they also said they expect more in stock soon ..

Jason,

Just read your posts about a Beko TV.

Did you buy one?

I got one from our local Tescos a while back...the 28C723IDW model with Freeview. Picture quality seems OK but the organisation of channels & the EPG are rubbish.

And as for Tesco Direct website!!!
For the last 4 weeks I've been looking at the DVD recorders page where they have DVD recorders & PVRs at very low prices, but about 80% of them are out of stock!!
I know they have a 'clearance' on, but they seem to continuously advertise stock they haven't got, and never will have.

Regards

Dave .. never did get one after all. The one I linked to was also permanently out of stock, although I did see it in the local cash convertors for £150

my mum eventually got a 32inch HD ready flat screen .. which p*sses all over my telly
