T-mobile flext
Hello. I am now on the tmobile flext contract for £15 a month(was ment to be £20)
Is there any packages that offer good internet access? I would not use it too much and would only want to use it through my laptop.. through my phones modem... I did this on 02 contract once and it costa fortune.. I saw a package at £7.50 but i dont know what it consists of. |

You're thinking of Web N Walk - but you're not permitted to use it as a modem. If you plugged it in to a lappy to access the web you'd eventually get your account suspended.
If that's what you want to use it for, you'll need the next package up - Web n Walk Pro, costs £12.50 but you get a 3 Gb cap. |

I got the same tariff as for someone that mainly sends txts and makes the odd calls it looked a great deal. However the 3g wap charges are extortionate.
In my first month I used the wap fairly regularly to go on the internet, download my e-mails and go on the internet via my laptop. I ended up with a £20 wap bill!!! The following month I restricted my use to looking up football scores and downloading the odd e-mail and still ended up with a £10 wap bill! For 3g phones the cheapest web and walk package is £10 I think. That reminds me, I need to set that up now!!! |

If you just want web n walk on your phone the standard package is 7.50 a month on top of ya monthly line rental.
That said if you want to connect the phone to your computer or laptop and use it to surf the net at 3G speeds, then there are two options available, one at 12.50 a month as already mentioned with a 3GB cap or 20 quid a month with a 10GB cap. This is by far the best deal out of any network, and for those on the move who need net access the 20 quid a month can often work out cheaper than Wi-Fi access available at many locations. |
