I've campaigned long and hard with RTE to show Shortland Street with subtitles.. I received an email from them on Monday to confirm that from Monday April 02, 07 Shortland Street will be broadcast on RTE1 with subtitles for the Deaf and HOH..

This is a milestone for the Deaf - we now have full access to another excellent soap.

I wish we could get RTE in the UK

I live in Ireland, and I was just wondering why would anyone in the UK want RTE???
