Hi,

Had a new upgrade today from Voda, i had the phone delivered to my work address. When i got home i found that i had another phone at home that had been delivered aswell! The one delivered by mistake is a W850i.

Will they contact my about this or do you think they have no idea?

Thanks

Keep the phone for a little while, Don't contact them, If not, Sell it on ebay and you got some money for nothing

Vodafone are very poor.

They sent me a replacement phone, I was told the courier would collect the other handset... so I packaged it up to hand to him and his words were "I've not got any instructions to take that off your hands mate"

So new handset went on Ebay, along with 3 brand new bluetooth headsets that I "convinced" Vodafone send to me as the other ones were faulty.

I'm sure customer service representatives from Vodafone read this, but I'm no longer a customer so don't really give a toss.

Everyone should make as much from the UK's most money grabbing rip off network in my opinion. Stick your handset on Ebay mate and get some money off them - they won't realise the error.

They could still ask for it back after a loooong time though, unless you send them a letter saying that if they don't make arrangements to collect you will dispose / do what you please with the item.

I'm not sure how many years, but i'm sure legally they could ask for it. Check you don't get bills to work too !!

Make no mistake, what you are thinking of doing is FRAUD. Voda obviously know they sent the extra phone as it's an upgrade and if you are a contract customer they will find you out, as two phones will show up on your account. That would be fraud and i'm sure DS would not like that discussed on here either..

Maybe Vodafone should get their act together then to help prevent "FRAUD".

Yes, someone at VF may have made a mistake. But everyone does sometimes.........and you also have to consider that 2 wrongs do not make a right.
