I got to admit that I wasn't tre's biggest fan prior to this week's show. His mauling of rory laing in rory's final show had me wanting to sign his death warrant, but this week changed all that and heres why. I think theres more to him.
not just the fact he's driven (prime asset for this contest), bolshy (in the american vernacular and not oxford dictionary definition),
witty and quite amusing when he wants to be, but hes also quite sensitive and will resort to humour when some are wilfully antagonising him.
In the cut scene which adrian chiles used to ridicule tre (does he engage his brain cell before speaking?) in which the latter was extolling his many virtous qualities had me laughing out loud in delight.
It was obviously in jest but some didn't see it that way. I think many have overlooked (myself included) his potential and focused on his frailties as a sign of his unsuitability to become SAS's apprentice.
When really he has enough of the right qualities to succeed.
