did anyone see it, it was quite funny jon culshaw is mimicking tony blair who is being interviewed about gordon brown taking over he goes on about renewal and collapses to the ground then regenerates into DT who subsequently goes on about not defeating the daleks to turn the country over to gordon and proclaims "100 MORE YEARS"

Hate to say it, as it was awful and his Blair impression was terrible but.....

It made me laugh.

Somehow I don't think he was on it because of the accuracy of his Blair impression...

David does'nt seem to take himself too seriously, you would'nt get Christopher Eccleston doing something like that.

Wrong! Eccleston appeared with a very camp persona in The League Of Gentlemen a few years back.

Yeah that was an excellent appearance by him... With his cat theatre.

Here you got Loz - a bit of information http://www.lunacynet.com/league/char_kenny.html#siepp

I'd forgotten about this until nicknack mentioned it but I thought it was the best guest appearance in The League of Gentlemen.

Is anyone on Dead Ringers because of the accuracy of their impressions?

Miaow.

Anyone know where I might be able to catch this episode in full? There's a couple of brief clips on YouTube, but my usual source for this has let me down this week (don't get to watch it live as my missus likes Hotel Babylon, and for some reason the Beeb see fit not to repeat it anywhere).

If you can assist in my plight, please PM or e-mail me. Thanks in advance.

I still remember him in Rab C Nesbitt, as the transvestite barman.

You never heard the Radio version?

Jon Culshaw's John Peel was stunningly accurate.

No, I haven't, I'm afraid.

That's a first then.

No, sorry, I'm only mucking about. Jon Culshaw's impressions are pretty good but there's another man on it (and I don't watch it regularly) that I've seen who I honestly thought wasn't good at all. Mind you, Rory Bremner's attempt at Russell Brand was dreadful and I tend to think of him as the best.

His Tom Baker is the best I've ever heard. As is his Trevor McDonald.

Anyway, its not the quality of the impressions I'm bothered about. Its not literally meant to have 'Dead Ringers', just characatures (sp?) of the celebs which totally changes your perceptions of them

And I prefer Jan Ravens' Fiona Bruce to the original
