Neighbours most crazy storylines
Theres no denying Neighbours had produced some 'far out there' stories in the last 21 years. Bouncers dream squence where he gets married to his doggie bride is one example.
So what other Neighbours seamingly drug induced stories stick out in your mind from the past/present?! |

Ha ha, when I saw the thread, Bouncer's dream immediately sprang into my mind too.
I don't watch Neighbours anymore so I don't know if there have been any crazier moments since then

haha well there was the story of Susan slipping on milk, banging her head and having amnesia - she thought she was 16 years old again and ended up having an affair with her high school crush!

The identical good twin/bad twin thing, and Robert blowing up a plane and killing his father was kinda odd.

Everything is crazy in Neighbours these days - The Timmins family for one. They should start all over again.

Harold coming back from the dead! Although I am glad he was brought back. Neighbours often has crazy storylines but that's what makes it more interesting!

Not really a storyline but the fact that Jim, Helen and co never noticed that Lucy had morphed into 3 different bodies over the years!

This one must be YEARS ago but I remember in the coffee shop they bought a new dishwasher and Madge got confused and put loads of washing up liquid in it instead of proper dishwasher powder - there was an explosion of soap and it flooded the whole floor of the coffee shop! Harold made lots of "Arrrrrr" noises!
That must have been in the late 80s/early 90s. |

The fact that it took a few episodes for Helen Daniels to actually die. It was a little bit drawn out. And anything to do with Boyd Hoyland is ridiculous, he's done more than the entire case and he's only 20!

Just read the H&A version of this thread and one comment reminded me - Todd's ghost in the mirror talking to Pheobe!

I think it has to be Susan Kennedy slipping on milk and then getting retro-grade amnesia, thinking she was 16 years old again. Alot of people switched off after that point, but I thought it was a work of genius! You've just got to love it.

Does anyone remember another Neighbours dream sequence at Christmas, must've been around 1988? I remember Clive Gibbins and Scott Robinson became toy soldiers, Charlene was in it too.

The coffee switching one -where i think Stringray and Serena swicthed the decaff lid with the normal one and people thought they were having decaff when they were having normal coffee.

I think that was a case of the writers getting their own back on her for slagging off the show cos they had axed her. |
