How can you read old columns? I knew how with the old format, but haven't been there for some time so I'm a bit confused!

"Sir Alan's henchmen - that woman who looks like she'd rather be running a Women's Institute jam stall and the bloke with the Cuprinol Kilroy-Silk tan and the perma-sneer expression."

That description of Margaret is spot on!

Update
http://www.radiotimes.com/content/features/tvod/

At dawn the next day, Sir Alan is lurking in Hamleys' legendary stuffed-toy department, trying not to stand too close to the life-sized Fozzy Bears in case he's accidentally price tagged and shipped off to an Iranian billionaire's child's nursery. ("I want that one, daddy! The one with the wiry hair and the impish eyes! When you kick his ankle he shouts, You're fired! Plllleeease?!")

Awwwwwwwww

“Adam survives again. He returns to the house where he's greeted with an atmosphere stinkier than that bin in Calais, which is full of Paul's cut-price rancid cheddar.”

Gotta love Grace Dent!

She refers to katie's quote: "Adam is a small boy in short shorts. At school he'd be in the C-stream, so I'd not have to deal with him,"

I also thought that that was an interesting comment, and said far more about Katie than about the people that Katie was slagging off.

And where she wrote Simon knows all about France. He's stayed in many hotels, he knows about the food, he knows about the wine, he knows about the women. Roarrrr. Simon says he's stayed in loads of French hotels and there are always teabags in the rooms, ergo, the French love teabags.

Hmmmm...I wonder if anyone pointed out to Simon that it turns out he doesn't know a whole lot about the French after all (I can't see many women of any nationality fancying him - he only looks about 12).
