The new family in Emmerdale
Even though the Marsden's have been living in Emmerdale now for about a fortnight, I still can't stand them. The worst actress is Frances, without a doubt. Its a shame becuase Emmerdale used to have excellent acting and interesting characters, but it looks like its going to change.....
What do you think?

Which one is Frances again?
Anyway, I didn't think they were THAT bad. Give them a chance...besides, the Battersbys and Slaters, as just two examples, were heavily scorned when they arrived, but went on to become very popular. The mum seems alright, as does her husband...so does the older son and his fiance(?) so far. One of the daughters seems a bit dodgy though... |

The thing with the Slaters and the Battersby's is that they totally changed. They were hated for being loud and outrageous in normal life, now these things only pop up occasionally (Mo's getting a chicken, Les being annoyed about his ex etc) they melted into the background.
I think the problem with the new family is that they all look the same (which is fair enough if they are supposed to be a family but they look so dopy!) so they are instantly forgettable. |
