Here, er, go the Brides

I swallowed EE's silly nonsense a while back of playing Nokia ringtones while zooming in on Motorolas, but just what were they trying to imply when Peter-the-lad's phone rang the other night in Coronation St. and played 'Here comes the Bride'? That ringtones are somehow caller-definable and not user-definable? He seemed to be a tad miffed even cross with (one of) his bride-to-be as a result of the ringtone......

Sorry, had nothing to do during the ads, I'll get me coat.

I don't think that they were implying that you could tell who was phoning just from the ringtone.

Lucy had the same ring tone on her mobile phone, and I think she changed Peter's tone to match her's as a 'nice suprise' for Peter.

Fair enough, but how did she manage it? It's not standard, she would have to have sent it OTA to his phone and then somehow saved it for him,; after that, made it either the default ring or assigned it to her name. Well done, that florist!

It doesnt take a genius to get a new ring tone and save it.
She wouldnt have assigned it to her name, it would have been the standard ring tone.

And she could have easily done it, he IS sleeping with her remember. So while he's fast asleep in the land of nod, she decides to leave him a little suprise
