You would be charged for the data (kilobytes, megabytes etc) that you download on the browser. I use Opera myself and tend to turn images off to avoid higher charges (an average text only page refresh is about 2kb - 5kb for me, which is a tiny charge on my priceplan). The charges themselves would be decided by the data costs of the network provider you're using, e.g. Vodafone, Orange etc. |

Love that Opera Mini. I believe it also uses Operas own Servers to compress stuff before sending it to you, resulting in smaller data charges on your bill.
Highly recommend it. |

I love opera mini. It does a really good job at shrinking pages to your phone. It does go through their servers (my analytics for my site showed somewhere in Sweden iirc). It shrinks the images at their end so you only pay a little bit of data. I have unlimited from 3 anyway but it does still make it faster.
Opera Mini, Sky Mobile and Googlemail are my 3 java apps that i adore |

You shouldn't need any settings.
Point your mobiles' existing browser at mini.opera.com and upon installation it should find your T-Mobile data connection automatically... |
